code: 625 368
$12.95
FESS is a buffered isotonic nasal saline solution.
Should the nasal tissues become dry from any cause - such as low humidity environments, then application of Fess will offer relief.
Fess is used for Relief of Sinusitis or Post operative nasal care

Product Description

FESS is a buffered isotonic nasal saline solution.

Iostonic sodium chloride assists in restoring normal cilial function to those cilia affected by infection, as in sinusitis. Further, the slightly alkaline pH will restore normal pH to the acidotic environment of an infected sinus - this also aids in the normalisation of cilial motility. Infection should also be treated by the most appropriate means to ensure the complete return to normality.
Mucus in infected upper airways tends to become rather tenacious - this retards the clearance of mucus from these airways. Liberal application of Fess will help to thin out this mucus and return it to its physiological consistency. This in turn aids the normal transport of both mucus and infected materials out of the upper airways.

Infants suffering from nasal congestion can be treated by lavaging their airways with Fess. Firm pressure on the nasal applicator will ensure that a strong jet of spray is discharged from the dispenser. This will help to move mucus plugs out of the nose and allow the infants to breathe more easily, thus facilitating feeding. This is important in this age group as they tend to be obligate nose breathers.

Post operative application of liberal amounts of Fess will assist in keeping the raw tissues clean and free from any exudate which may hinder or in fact retard the healing process. Ultimate success of the procedure may be jeopardised by the formation of synechiae if the airways are not kept clear.

Should the nasal tissues become dry from any cause - such as low humidity environments, then application of Fess will offer relief.
