Iron is essential for growth and brain development. Although cows' milk can be your child's main drink once they reach 12 months, it's not a good source of iron. For example, each 230mL of Heinz Nurture Toddler provides 50% of RDI (recommended dietary intake) for iron, while cow's milk only provides a trace amount. Heinz Nurture Toddler can complement the use of cows' milk while boosting iron intake and can also be used in recipes instead of cows' milk. This can be very helpful when feeding fussy eaters and children with smaller appetites.
