Relaxaderm
This cosmetic contains Argireline (scientifically known as Acetyl Hexapeptide-8), a chain of 6 amino acids which works by inhibiting the release of neurotransmitters that are responsible for the contraction of facial muscles. As a result, Argireline relaxes facial tension leading to the minimisation of facial lines and wrinkles, giving the whole face a relaxed, more youthful look. Tests have shown that the Argireline reduces the appearance of wrinkles by up to 50% in 30 days, with an average improvement of 30%. This resembles the effect of Botox®, which reduces facial tension and movement by paralysing facial muscles.

Rapid Peel
This cosmetic contains a highly concentrated dose of Glycolic Acid to achieve its professional strength chemical exfoliation. Glycolic Acid belongs to the class Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA’s) commonly known as ‘fruit acids’ and occurs naturally in sugar cane juice. Glycolic Acid is considered to be the most effective AHA because it has a small molecular structure allowing it to penetrate the surface of the skin more readily. AHA’s have had much scientific investigation into their powerful exfoliation function. AHA’s enhance the loosening of surface corneocytes (the outermost skin cells) so that the rough, scaly dry cells literally slough away. This shedding of corneocytes results in an immediate visible result of smoother, more uniform skin. Furthermore, with prolonged use, the acids are also able to brighten the colour of the skin, reducing the mottled pigmentation commonly associated with photodamage.

A proprietary ingredient that is scientifically named Tetrapeptide-5. Eyeseryl has been shown to have a draining effect on the area under the eyes, and as a result helps to visibly decongest the area, removing excess water that has pooled there. Tests on Eyeseryl were performed on female volunteers to assess its effect on skin smoothness, puffiness, and the appearance of congestion. The appearance of puffy under-eye bags was shown to decrease in 95% of the volunteers.

Apricot Oil has moisturising and revitalising properties, perfect for caring for drying or ageing skin of the delicate eye area. It is known for its ability to penetrate the skin without leaving an oily feel.

• Shea Butter
Shea Butter comes from the Shea nut which is inside the fruit of the Karite (Shea) tree. It is a superior moisturiser that has been used as an anti-ageing skincare ingredient in African countries for centuries.

This cosmetic contains 4 active ingredients that are combined to achieve sun protection. These include:

• Octocrylene
An organic compound with UVB sunscreen with strong water resistant properties.

• Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane
A sunscreen agent with broad range UVA protection.

• Benzophenone- 3
UVA and UVB absorber.

• Phenylbenzimidazole Sulphonic Acid
UVB absorber.

The base of the Supermoist SPF30+ Accelerator formulation, particularly the Propylene Glycol, moisturises the skin, leaving it feeling hydrated, soft and supple.
